Who should attend this course:

This course is suitable for learners who are able to engage in conversation with a reasonable degree of fluency but mostly for discussing familiar topics.
They produce simple sentences quite accurately and comfortably but they are not so fluent when discussing complex ideas.
Their range of vocabulary and grammar is limited with reliance on familiar and common words.
Their pronunciation is generally accurate but occasional lapses affect the clarity of communication at times. Their intonation is mostly adequate to convey meaning and purpose but consistency is lacking

By the end of this course the participants will:

– feel comfortable and confident to speak English for discussing familiar as well as unfamiliar and complex ideas.
– show greater fluency with the help of contractions, connectives, filler words, blends and question tags
– they will be able to sustain conversation with greater independence on familiar and unfamiliar of topics. They will be able to engage in arguments and produce persuasive language at an elementary level
– be able to give a short 3 to 5 minute impromptu talk on a given topic, serve as an MC (master of ceremony), make and telephone calls, give and take interviews, etc.
– use a wider range of words and idiomatic phrases to express their thoughts and feelings on both familiar and unfamiliar topics
– use an expanded range of grammar with fewer errors while producing simple and complex sentences.
– speak with a better command of pronunciation and intonation for conveying feelings and purpose in a wide range of situations.
